THERE IS a lot written about how partnerships in the haulage industry from pallet networks to trade associations, to customers and technology, can power business growth.
Chris Kilsby, director of Washington, County Durham based Hawthorns Logistics, would agree with much of the above, but when you hear him speak it is clear than another partnership is the true bedrock of its success since launching in 2009.
“We had 30 years of experience in the haulage industry when we decided to go it alone,” he recalls. “We felt it was the best way for us to progress. We haven’t looked back.”
