TIP TRAILER Services has confirmed an order with trailer manufacturer SDC, for the delivery of more than 1,000 new semi-trailers for their UK and Ireland based customers.
The trailers will be engineered at SDC’s Toomebridge, Antrim and Mansfield facilities over the next six months and feature a mix of both customer-specified and TIP-specified builds for their rental, lease, and contract hire fleet.
Karl Davies, commercial director at TIP explained: “TIP has experienced a high demand for new trailers over the last 12 months. In 2020, we took delivery of over 2,000 SDC trailers and we predict that this demand will continue throughout this year.
