MERCEDES-Benz dealership group City West Commercials has introduced in-house brake testing at two of its workshops after taking advantage of lease hire options from UK lift specialists Totalkare.
With dealerships along the A5, their Avonmouth and Roche workshops are now enjoying the time and cost savings that come with in-house testing following the introduction of DVSA approved mobile brake testers.
Able to test up to 16,000kg per axle as standard, Totalkare’s connected mobile brake tester is a flexible solution that can be deployed inside or outside the workshop, even on uneven ground. It comes supplied with computer, monitor, printer, cabinet and a handheld unit that makes it easy to conduct brake tests from the comfort of the driver’s seat.
It is available with single or bi-directional rollers and can be upgraded with extended on-ramps, tachograph calibration, axle load simulation and more.
Both mobile brake testers are supported by a full repair and maintenance service contract from Totalkare which includes two calibration visits per year.
