BEAR Scotland are planning to carry out essential resurfacing works adjacent to Harthill Services on slip eastbound.
The works are provisionally programmed to be undertaken over two nights, between the hours of 8.30pm and 6am. The M8 will be closed in an eastbound direction on the nights of Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 March 2021.
During periods of closure, a signed diversion route will be in place for eastbound traffic via Junction 5, B7066 before re-joining the M8 at Junction 4a. The noted diversion route will add an estimated five minutes to affected journeys.
