MAN has celebrated the first anniversary of the launch of its latest generation TGX with a new range-topping version, the Lion S.
Blending a sleek exterior with an exclusive interior design is kicked-off by external styling dominated by the red highlights on the grille’s chrome strips, and carbon-fibre detailing, such as bumper and mirror covers.
Stainless steel front and side bars, with an optional matching LED roof bar, are contrasted by the black finish of the wheels. An exclusive S-marked version of the sunvisor from the company’s MAN Individual personalisation programme tops off the exterior.
Inside, the dominant feature is the premium seating, in black Alcantra with red lozenge stitching and embossed red lion on the headrest, with matching multi-function steering wheel, armrests and door trims.
The second bunk position is replaced by 1,400 litres of additional storage space, with the option of a kitchen unit including coffee maker and microwave. Another option, a 22in TV can be fitted facing the lounger bunk.
The full package of technology features from the regular truck is included. Engine ratings from 510hp to 630hp power the Lion S. MAN expects the first UK customer deliveries to be in mid-summer.
