THE COMPETITION Appeal Tribunal has confirmed that it will hear the remaining aspects of the RHA’s Truck Cartel application for a collective proceedings order between 19-26 April 2021.
The RHA remains confident about the application and if granted following this hearing, it will mean it is one step closer to securing compensation that it believes operators are owed as a result of the truck cartel.
The RHA is also due to appear in the Court of Appeal on 26/27 January 2021 to deal with DAF’s appeal against the decision of the Tribunal in which it decided (in RHA’s favour) that the RHA’s funding agreement is compliant with all applicable legislation.
