IN ORDER to keep up with recent increases in paper prices, coupled with a January rise in Royal Mail postage costs, the publishers of Transport News have had no alternative but to raise the cover price from £2.80 to £3.30 from and including the March 2021 edition.
Commenting, TN editor Kevin Swallow said: ‘We have held the current cover price for a good number of years now, but we must react to ever increasing costs.
‘Obviously our annual subscription price is also affected, going up from £28 to £33 for 12 editions. However, this doesn’t start until the March 2021 issue, so astute readers can grab a bargain by using the subscription coupon facility on page 76 as a last chance to subscribe for 12 consecutive editions at the current £28 rate to ensure that your road haulage information is up to date, month by month, delivered by post direct to your desk or door’.
