FOR READERS who have never visited a virtual reality truck show before, what could and hopefully will be their one and only chance takes place over three days from 29 September to 1 October.
Entry is free, there is of course no travelling involved and there’s no overnight hotel accommodation to worry about.
The Commercial Motor Show 2020 has been created by Road Transport Media as a VR exhibition for the road transport industry.
Four truck manufacturers have already signed up to welcome visitors to their respective stands – DAF, Isuzu, MAN and Mercedes, and they will be joined by a growing list of equipment and services providers.
For further information see pages 22 and 23.
Stop Press: A conference programme has also been organized with key speakers ‘on site’ to discuss a broad range of topics including Brexit, compliance and new technology. The session on how the transport industry is recovering from Covid-19 is expected to be particularly popular.
