In a move designed to strengthen its service offering to fleets in Scotland, Carrier Transicold has made some significant changes to its service partner network, writes Gordon Roberts, helping to ensure its customers have access to comprehensive installation and aftersales support wherever they are.
CARRIER’s service partner network comprises 16 independent transport refrigeration repair and maintenance companies across the UK and Scottish operators and those running to deliveries north of the border can now call on the skills and expertise of three such businesses. The largest, James Hogg Transport Refrigeration, or Carrier Transicold South and Central Scotland, is based out of Cambuslang, and now also from a new facility in Newhouse, generally covering both sides of the country south of Stirling.
The Highlands is covered by North East Transport Refrigeration Services, trading as Carrier Transicold Aberdeen, a well-established business. The new addition is Sandy Baird, operating as Carrier Transicold East Scotland, which covers an area running across to Fort William from its base in Kinross.
