HAULIERS regularly using the A66 Trans-Pennine trunk route will face serious disruption over four weekends when the road will be closed between East Layton and West Layton due to substantial, essential resurfacing work.
Lengthy diversion routes are planned as work is carried out over the four consecutive weekends from 24 January to 16 February inclusive, when the Layton section of the A66 will be closed from 9pm on the Friday until 6am on the following Monday.
