TIPPER body and tipping trailer manufacturing businesses, Weightlifter Bodies and PPG Fabrications have been acquired by Grange Cross Ltd.
Nigel Butler, Grange Cross shareholder and formerly commercial director at Renault Trucks UK, takes over as managing director from industry stalwart, Paul Weightman who after 27 years at the helm of the group, will retire.
Founded in the 1930s and located in Scunthorpe and Wisbech, Weightlifter Bodies and PPG Fabrications designs and manufactures tipping bodies and tipping trailers for the construction, agriculture and recycling markets.
