CENTRAL Demolition have taken delivery of a high spec Volvo FH tractor unit as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations. Central is a multi award winning demolition, asbestos removal and recycling contractor, based in High Bonnybridge near Falkirk.
The company first appeared back in 1993, with one truck, one machine, sheer hard work, commitment and dedication which has resulted in a thriving business.
Fast forward 26 years and today’s company works on contracts up to £4.5 million in value across all industries, including health, education and residential, employing 200+ staff and running a fleet of 33 stunning hard working, show winning trucks along with a fleet of almost 100 machines.
Despite what the name may suggest, the business is more than just a demolition company. Over the past 26 years, there has been a gradual expansion of the portfolio of services offered to its clients and in partnership with its sister company Central Skip Hire, other environmental services are also available, including the supply of recycled aggregates throughout Scotland’s central belt.
The 80 tonne plated tag axle FH450 unit adorned in ‘central blue’ features Volvo’s I-Shift crawler gearbox and dynamic steering system. The Globetrotter XL cab boasts a whole lot of customisation around the exterior delivered by Baileys including top bar, grill inlay, side bars and perimeter air kit lighting, as well as custom laser cut Central Demolition up the exhaust together with chrome tool boxes complete with Central Demolition light up back board.
