THE LINWOOD, Renfrewshire based Malcolm Group has posted a turnover of £213m compared to the previous year of £225.7m an operating profit before exceptional items of £9.937m compared to £10.390m the previous year.
Commenting on the results for the year ended 31 January 2018 Andrew Malcolm, group chief executive, said: ‘During 2017/18, turnover in our Logistics division increased and our Construction Services & Waste Management division performed well despite lower activity levels.
‘The group recorded an operating profit of £9.9 million, a robust performance in the face of competitive trading conditions in both sectors.
