A new Scania S730 bought by Central Demolition is part of a £3 million investment in the business, which is celebrating its silver anniversary. Kevin Swallow reports.
TO MARK its 25th year, Bonnybridge based Central Demolition has added a new special edition Scania S730 6×4 tractor unit to the fleet. The truck is part of a £3 million investment into the business which started in 1993 with an 8×4 tipper and an excavator. The company has now grown to employ almost 200 people (see Fleet in Focus, Transport News, April 2018).
It was delivered by Scania (GB) from its Newbridge depot in Edinburgh, and for this new truck no expense was spared with every possible optional extra added, including a TV, fridge and microwave.
